Hippocratic Oath has given you an Augustan status that is where society holds you dear, only next to god, for you have the all powerful knowledge to keep death at bay. However in India where we are working the basic health structure is abysmal. There are a lot of hands those who are looking at you. We shall appreciate if you can give us some of your valuable time or medicines those you have excess in stock or any basic vitamin or nourishment enhancer for the kids who are attending our schools. Your small help can make a little life more healthy lively and an aspiring future.

Educational Aids

Toys, games and books are needed to help the many youngsters in our village schools.

Sponsor a child

Transform a small homeless, deprived Indian child into a literate, confident, self-reliant child. Most Of the children in the villages and slums in cites of India are bounded to labors at home while their parents go out in search of work, at an age when a child is supposed to play with other children in the neigh-boarhound and go to school.

The Vajra Bodhi Society takes responsibility for as many of these underprivileged children as possible. It makes arrangements for their education, provides health care and boarding. It coasts The Vajra Bodhi Society IRS.12, 000 per child per year.

You have to power in you to help at least one such child with just IRS. 12, 000 (approximately $ 300) Per year. The money you donate will provided education, health care and boarding. As such child sponsor you can remain in touch with the child and play active role in sharing his or her destiny. So please respond.

Volunteer Doctors Needed

If you are a medical practioners and have kind heart this is an opportunity to use your precious life for the good of others and have an experience that will have an experience that will live with you for the rest of your life. We are in great need of Volunteers in the field of medicine for our health care projects.

Village homes for homeless

Housing is one of the most serious challenges facing India.

For a normal citizen, owning a house provides significant economic security and status in society. For shelter less persons, a house brings about a profound social change in their existence, endowing them with an identity, thus integrating them with their immediate social milieu.

Bhikkhu Rahul thinks that he might not be able to solve all of India’s problems, but if he works hard he could change at least some persons’ world.

In the first phase of his program-“Housing for every body”, to provide dwelling units to the people living below the poverty line, in the villages around Buddha-Gaya free of cost, he has selected about hundred families living in a village named Mocharim where one of the schools run by the Vajra Bodhi Society is situated at.

The Vajra Bodhi will construct each of the housing units on a plinth area of 418 sq. ft. at a cost of IRS. 100 thousand with 2 bed rooms, kitchen and toilet and hand it over to the head of the family.
